Monkey King is a character in the classical Chinese epic novel ” Journey to the West “.
Journey to the West is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. It was written in the 16th century during the Ming Dynasty. Its authorship is attributed to Wu Cheng’en.

The Downtown Los Angeles Art Walk is a free, self-guided walking tour located between 4th and 7th and Spring and Main along with galleries, restaurants and bars in several surrounding blocks of Downtown LA. What began organically grew into what we recognize today as the Downtown Art Walk with over 50 galleries, dozens of local businesses and a million dollars of entertainment for free to the visiting public. Galleries open as early as noon, and the Art Walk Lounge is open from 6pm to 10pm. Please check the website for the most recent map that includes the surrounding districts. 




Mid-Autumn Moon Celebration

LAAFA - 3-Day Seascapes Painting Workshop with Ruo Li

Ruo Li will teach the basic principles of painting from nature. His emphasis will be on the special skills for painting a seascape by the sea. Mr. Li will talk about how to pay attention to the composition, color tone and strokes when creating a seascape painting. The instructor will make some specific requirements about the assignment for students

Breaking Ground: 20th-Century Latin American Art

In celebration of Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month, the Museum is presenting an exhibition of works from 20th-century Latin American artists. Spanning the period from 1931 to 1985, the featured artworks demonstrate how artists broke new ground, leaving behind or drastically altering artistic conventions to explore diverse forms of modernism.

Hello!

We are Un-officially opening a space for us: All the Art Center Students on the Entertainment Arts Track.

All of us will be aloud to post new work, share thoughts, comments, class work, doubts.. whatever we need as an individual or as an anonymous.

We hope that this place will inspire, encourage, promote  and inform everybody about our track and the great amount of artist it have.

We hope to see all of your great work and impressive ideas in order to build a community and become more aware of our peers.

Lets have fun, lets share and let's show the world what we can do!
